About you:
Degree in Metallurgical/ Chemical Engineering
MDP/MAP/PME/SLP University Certificate is an added advantage
At least 6 years’ experience in a mineral processing plant of which 4 years should have been in a PGM Flotation plant and in a leadership role.
Extensive experience and knowledge in PGM flotation.
Proven record of participation in fundamental research within the Platinum Concentrators.
Good understanding of basic process control for flotation plants.
Proven record of managing metallurgical / chemical engineering students and graduates while officially appointed as a plant or technical metallurgist in a big scale metallurgical operation.
Ability to communicate metallurgical technical information effectively, both orally and in writing.
Performance / Results driven, accurate and timeous completion of assignments.
Capable of achieving KPI’s in high work pressure environment.
Knowledge of the mining process, standards, procedures, safety, and legal requirements
Conversant with MS Office packages (MS Office, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) with good technical report writing and presentations skills
Good understanding of data historian and proven data analysis skills
Good knowledge of PGM Metal Accounting Compilation & Reporting
