Business Unit: Tax Management Services

Reporting to: Associate Directors and Directors

Purpose Of The Job

To be proactive in all aspects of corporate tax consulting

Key Job Duties Or Responsibilities

• Perform income tax and deferred tax reviews for audit clients and interact with audit teams and clients
• Tax compliance including tax computations, drafting supporting tax schedules, completion and reviews of tax returns
• Produce accurate work to a high technical standard
• Draft technically correct reports for review
• Interpret and apply theoretical tax knowledge to the business by utilising a sound knowledge of basic income tax law
• Gather information from different sources by using effective research tools
• Assist with the research and preparation of proposals
• Contribute effectively to the discussions around work and actively participate in generating creative ideas and thoughts
• Adapt to a changing work environment and accommodate changing client demands
• Facilitate teamwork by sharing knowledge with others on a regular basis and actively asking questions in order to achieve personal and work goals.

Qualifications And Experience

• BCom, CA (SA), HDip (Tax) or related degrees
• Strong academic background
• Experience in Tax is an advantage
