Main Purpose:

The WMS Senior IT Analyst role will support L3 incidents for Infor/WM4000 and RP WMSs, this includes the full analysis of each support incident logged and good technical understanding of IT Infrastructure to install and support various application components. The WMS Senior IT Analyst will manage and resolve any number L3 issues and development requests for the WMS in question. This role is heavily involved in new client deployments and managing backend requirements to allow for a successful client implementation. The position will involve development and management of both internal (business and BCM group) and external (client) requirements. He/she will review and oversee incidents in line with company procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with the WMS IT environment management.
• Assist in keeping the “lights on” as pertains to the WMSs under the group’s responsibility.
• Analyze, manage and/or address service requirements (development requirements).
• Analyze, manage and/or address L3 incidents.
• Assist Implementation and support analysts.
• Contribute to team building and sharing of best practices.
• Maintain environment documentation.

Qualifications:

• Grade 12 / Standard 10 Certificate.
• IT related Degree/Diploma.

Minimum Requirements:

• 5 years’ experience in WMS applications support.
• 3 years’ work experience with SQL Server DB.
• 3 years’ solid experience working on server 2008/12.
• 3 years’ experience in WMS systems.
• Logistics experience a plus.
• Ability to work overtime and flexible hours when required.
