Job Description

• We are currently looking for a skilled and dynamic Senior ICT Technician for our head office in CPT. You will need a minimum of 10 years advanced desktop, server, network and general infrastructure support experience in the SME sector. You will support and maintain multiple network infrastructures and assist other technicians in CPT & JHB with escalations.
• We are looking for individuals with a positive and vibrant attitude, who are also well presented and understand the dynamics of client relations and the importance of good email and telephone ettiquite. This is however a very technical role and you need to be a "Jack of all trades".
• Our Helpdesk team will support you in your role, control your scheduled and assist with workload accordingly. Your time must be flexible as after-hour work will be required during the week as well as some weekends.

Salary range – R20 000 to R26 000 CTC, depending on experience and qualifications.

Requirements (Tier 3 Advanced support):

• A+ / N+ / MCSE or MCITP
• Windows & MAC (Hardware / Software)
• Microsoft Office & Office 365
• Networking infrastructure including switches, mikrotiks and firewalls.
• VPN, VLAN and Network security on L3 switches.
• Dell/HP server installations and deployments.
• Storage solutions - NAS/DAS/SAN
• Server management & maintenance - MS Servers 2008 and up.
• MS Exchange and Mimecast.
• Virtualization technologies VMware & HyperV
• WiFi technologies including Ubiquity, Ruckus
