Brand Custodian needed for listed property fund. Established in the late 1990's, our client has recently enjoyed a massive growth spurt, and hope to continue along these lines. They own rural and township style malls in various parts of South Africa in excess of R2Billion in value. Although an established brand, the executive have recognised the need to appoint a permanent PR/ Social Media /marketing professional who will work alongside the CEO to invigorate their image and increase revenue. To achieve this, you will become well networked with the property press, to keep news of their successes top of mind. You will also update all corporate and mall marketing material, control all social media campaigns and day to day postings, attend corporate functions and be comfortable to present the company at industry related events. To achieve this broad range of functions, you will need to have exceptional creative writing, presentation and marketing strategy skills, and be a highly organised individual. Expect to travel from time to time to become the 'face of the company' to potential investors, to the media, financial inductions and supplier. Ideally, you will also display a good understanding of the numbers that make a property or its redevelopment work, in order to assist the internal asset managers in their due diligence, and in accurately promoting possible new deals.
