Job Description

• The Jupiter Drawing Room, Cape Town, Project Management Department is looking for a mid-weight Integrated Producer that is passionated, inventive and solution-driven in terms of turning creative ideas into tangible outputs across a variety of media.
• This is not an office-bound job. You should be the kind of person who is constantly on the look-out for new production techniques and suppliers. We need someone with a great attention to detail, a highly solution-driven brain and a pro-active, flexible and resilient and an ability to work under pressure.
• We need someone who has a background in broadcast, digital and/or print production, but will, and can be called upon, to produce a variety of projects for The Jupiter Drawing Room, Cape Town that may not fit your specialty. Therefore, you have to be a really great critical thinker and Project Manager, with an experience in handeling the unknown.
• You will have to ensure that the agency provides sound and responsible project management and planning, proper and innovative execution of work in all areas, on time, and produce a consistently superior creative product.
• The role is client facing and has scope for career development and enhancing skills across a range of disciplines.
• The work you do is visible to the public everyday, so your ability to influence consumer culture is tremendous.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Digital or Broadcast production
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a producer in a creative agency or production environment
• (digital, production, broadcast, post)
• Great project management abilities in a leadership role
• Self motivated and willing to expand knowledge
• Experience with clients & suppliers to develop and negotiate project scopes and budgets
• Ability to self-manage while managing assigned teams and projects under tight deadlines
• Well versed in executing campaigns across multiple platforms
• Strong negotiation skills
• Collaborate with all members of production
• Supervise post-production

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Scope out and determine the feasibility of producing final creative work in a variety of formats
• Source quotes and estimates for production work
• Create and manage cost estimates, invoicing, supplier quotes, creation of POs
• Negotiate with external suppliers, including agents representing artists
• Ensure the correct licensing of artistic material across all formats and locations within agreed timings
• Maintain quality standards across the production of all creative work
• Manage the project risk
• Plan and manage timing schedules that fit the needs of the client brief and budget
• Report progress of all work and any anticipated deviation from planned timings and costs
• Liaise with Account and Creative teams ensuring efficiency and continuity across all projects
• Liaise with the Project Managers to ensure availability of resources
