First Hotel-development role for Sub-saharan Africa!

Europes most successful hotel operator has recently opened doors in Johannesburg, South Africa. With 20-brands currently underneath their banner, they tick the box for every possible guests need: from luxury to economy hotel and even resort stays. Established more than half a century ago they now have more than 4000 hotels spread across North and Central America, South America, Europe, Middle-East, Africa and Asia Pacific. Their business models include offering world-class Operational services as well as Hotel Investment opportunities and branding power through franchising. With a focus on expanding their African footprint, they require a Network Development Manager to join this intimate team. They currently have close to 200-hotels already established in Africa and Middle East, but would like to increase this number significantly through approaching Investors or existing hotels across the continent. They offer a variety of services to investors looking for hotel developments, from researching site locations, offering fully-accredited brand selections, fact-based project feasibility and identifying the best possible concept. This in essence, will be your focused responsibilities, in Nigeria, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Ethiopia, South Africa and neighbouring countries. Focused on the key and capital cities in each of the countries, you would travel regularly to various investors / funds/ landlords / partners to source and conclude viable new deals. This opportunity is the first of it's kind for the South-African market, and would need someone who is up for the challenge of approaching African-Investors to expand and build more hotels. Your previous development experience will definitely be beneficial for you to understand the dynamics and synchronicities of the development process. This opportunity is for an energetic deal maker with a Property Studies or Financial degree, who wants the opportunity to network and travel into Africa. Your 5- 7 years transactional experience, preferably in hotel projects, along with your need to take accountability for a new and sales-orientated role, will seal this deal.
