The Role

Protection Associate - Tesla, Inc. has immediate opportunities available in Buffalo, NY at Gigafactory 2 (Riverbend) for professional security people. You will protect our premises, assets and personnel. You will maintain a high visibility presence and prevent all illegal or inappropriate actions. The goal is to detect, deter, observe and report and then take the appropriate action. These positions are full-time roles. As a Tesla employee, in addition to an hourly wage you will receive some Tesla stock and the opportunity to acquire medical benefits.

We currently have openings on ALL SHIFTS.

Responsibilities

• Protect company’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment.
• Observe for signs of crimes or disorder and investigate disturbances.
• Act lawfully in direct defense of life or property.
• Patrol (randomly or regularly) building and perimeter.
• Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates.
• Perform first aid or CPR as needed.

Requirements

• Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols.
• High level of integrity and professionalism.
• Ability to walk and stand for eight hour shifts.
• Ability to handle occasional mandatory overtime.
• Basic command of English language for verbal & written communication
