    Copier Techinician

    Job Description

    We are looking for an experienced and well-organized copier & Printer Technician to provide the necessary support to both new and existing clients. The successful candidate will serve customers by installing and servicing office copiers and printering systems and other related products.

    The goal is to ensure quality workmanship and an overall exceptional customer experience so as to maximize the long-lasting development of the company.

    Responsibilities:

    • Serve new and existing clients by analysing work orders; adhering to daily travel schedule; investigating complaints; conducting tests; fault finding; resolving problems; software & firmware updates; replacing or refurbising worn parts.
    • Establishes service by studying system requirements or problems; providing feedback on required ordering and gathering components and parts; completing installation or service calls; performing acceptance tests.
    • Maintains rapport with customers by examining complaints; identifying solutions; suggesting improved methods and techniques; recommending system improvements.
    • Keeps personal equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
    • Documents service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
    • Maintains customer confidence by keeping service information confidential.
    • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications.
    • Accomplishes operations and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

    Key Performance Indicators:

    • Conversion Ratio of all call-out leads managed in accordance with the best conversion ratio possible
    • 100% call-out Lead and Customer Master Data maintained
    • Pre-install site visit and checklist accuracy required (Ensuring all required materials are at your disposal)
    • Acceptance to Delivery/Install TAT’s (Turn Around Times) monitored and managed
    • Post-install (Rate-My-Service) In Trade Review completed with accuracy and exceptional service standardised
    • In-Trade Supervision and Uniform Audit Conducted Monthly – with a 5 rating expected

    Requirements:

    • Proven experience in the Technical and Business Solutions realm; experience as a Technician or in other Business Solution positions will be considered a plus;
    • Good computer skills (MS Office)
    • Proficiency in English
    • Well-organised and responsible with an aptitude in problem-solving
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • A team player with high level of dedication
    • Valid Driver’s Licence (and vehicle will be considered a plus)
    • Knowledge of networking, software installations and SMTP settings
    • Samsung software experience - Business core priniting solutions.
