    BOS Junior Community Manager

    Job description

    BOS Junior Community Manager

    We’re looking for a creative and hard working Junior Community Manager to join the BOS Marketing team.

    The role is based at our Head Office in Cape Town, reporting directly to the BOS Digital Head based in Amsterdam. You will also be working closely with the BOS Brand Manager and creative team (based in South Africa).

    The BOS Junior Community Manager’s role is to support the BOS Digital Head and BOS Brand Manager with admin, PR, Communications and Social Media requests. The Junior Community Manager will be the first point of contact for all BOS info line enquiries, Social Media enquiries and ad-hoc staff requests. The BOS Junior Community Manager will be responsible for duties across BOS Ice Tea, BOS Sport and BOS Hot Tea.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Schedule all BOS social media content on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram on a daily basis in line with the BOS content plans and digital budget.
    • Add internal and external newsletter content approved by BOS Digital Head and send to relevant contact lists.
    • Update Shopify store images, price and product info when needed.
    • Update website info when needed.
    • Interact with consumers on social media accounts on a daily basis to ensure optimum engagement and to resolve any consumer queries.
    • Identify any potential opportunities where BOS could meaningfully engage with fans online.
    • Answer all info line emails within 24 hours.
    • Assist with PR related tasks.
    • Be present at major BOS Ice Tea and BOS Sport events to capture content with approval from BOS Digital Head.
    • Manage stock deliveries to BOS ambassadors.
    • Keep the BOS ambassador social media tracker up to date.

    Desired Skills & Experience

    • Have a relevant degree or diploma in marketing or communications.
    • At least 1+ years experience working in a similar role.
    • Be creative, have excellent communication and writing skills.
    • Be proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
    • Have excellent time management skills.

    Role Start Date: 1 June 2017 (sooner if possible)
