Since then, it has grown into a global network of researchers who conduct randomized evaluations to test and improve the effectiveness of programs and policies aimed at reducing poverty.

Passionate about education policy in Africa? The Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab for Africa (J-PAL Africa) seeks an Education Policy Associate to support J-PAL’s goal of transforming research into action by designing, developing and promoting a multimedia implementation toolkit that will allow African governments and NGOs to easily apply what works in education. Strong candidates will hold a degree in education, public policy, communications, or a related field, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
