Job description

Chevron is accepting online applications for the position of Operator located in Pretoria, South Africa through , May 4, 2017.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

• Partakes actively in the use of SAP and Fuelfacs during product receipting and all relevant documentation. Being accountable for the execution and oversight of these processes with emphasis on the accuracy and quality of daily/weekly/monthly inventory reconciliations during tank dipping verification of the ATG
• Collaborates and work closely with terminal stock accountant on product receipts for pipeline and road bridging
• Participate in business related incident or loss investigation. Participation in the LPS process by ensuring LPS targets is met. Actively participate in Safety Meetings, Stand Downs, Loss Prevention System Observations (LPO’s) and Job Safety Analyses (JSA’s)
• Assist the lead operators on shift with all terminal operations and general plant maintenance duties

Required Qualifications

• Finished at least Grade 12 education
• Preferably with at least 2 years of experience in the petrochemical industry
• Amenable working in shifting schedules

Relocation Options:

Relocation may be considered within Chevron South Africa parameters.
