An opportunity is available for 3x Professional Nurses & 4x Enrolled Nurses, reporting to the Unit Manager. The successful candidates will form part of the multidisciplinary team ensuring that all our patients receive comprehensive quality nursing care.
Critical Outputs
An in-depth knowledge of nursing of spinal cord injured patients will be advantageous.
Previous experience in a re-habilitation/sub-acute facility will be advantageous.
Previous experience in wound care treatment will be advantageous.
Exhibit meticulous planning and well organised work methods.
Exceptional written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Good knowledge of nursing protocols.
Knowledge of Proclin (Hospital Information System).
Application of systems, processes, policies and people resources to meet superior patient care.
Requirements
Registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC)
Previous working experience in the nursing field of at least 5 years
Ability to speak, write and read in English
Ability to work shifts and night shifts
Ability to work overtime and on weekends
Display a sense of responsibility, accuracy, and attention to detail
The ability to operate as an independent practitioner within the scope of practice
