    Key Accounts Marketer

    Job Description

    • Develop and manage strategy for the retail pharmacy and hospital channels. Incorporate TA/ brand strategies to create holistic value propositions for the retail and hospital customers, thus driving product growth as well as supporting key account metrics.
    • Key Performance Outputs Develop and manage strategy for the retail pharmacy and hospital channels. Incorporate TA/ brand strategies to create holistic value propositions for the retail and hospital customers, thus driving product growth as well as supporting key account metrics.

    Responsibilities include: 

    • Financial: Deliver on revenue of the identified strategic plans and activities, following accurate analysis of data for each initiative and feedback to management
    • Set up; monitor and track ROI of expenditure on identified programs, carefully managing investment Strategy development, for retail pharmacies and hospital groups
    • Collaborate with Key Account Managers to understand customer needs Collaborate with marketers (Ambulatory and CC Managers; digital marketer) to understand existing Pfizer programs and offerings * Identify value add programs to maximize revenue
    • Develop and implement core materials in line with the key account plans Advance proposals to senior management for endorsement
    • Lead on activities to understand and address opportunities and challenges for key accounts (retail pharmacy and hospital groups) 
    • Collaborate with key accounts colleagues, to drive effective execution of campaigns and programs, across ambulatory and critical care
    • Ensure close alignment between brand strategy and customer needs * Align key stakeholders - medical, marketing, management, H&V, regulatory, sales etc - to plan and deliver on business objectives and tactical activities for key accounts
    • Establish effective peer relationships and strong cross-functional collaboration and communication * Vendor management
    • Identification of gaps or opportunities, within the key accounts realm and the development of suitable solutions or ideas to meet Pfizer and customer needs * Identify metrics to measure success of programs * Forecast and track ROI of programs
    • Delivery on revenue achievement for identified activities * Forecasting and management of expenses allocated to key accounts
    • Vendor management for key account specific initiatives
    • Embrace and display the PEH culture traits Shared Accountability Development of hospital strategies/ key accounts value adds and retail initiatives, with marketing and sales * Development of Op Plan, in conjunction with sales and marketing
    • Expense allocation and tracking of activities, with key account colleagues and marketing

    Reporting Structure

    Reports to: Channel Marketer Direct reports: None

    Minimum Requirements

    • Commercial experience is required, including brand management and involvement in Key Account Management Marketing qualification would be a plus

    Technical Skills

    • Demonstrated track record of ability to influence others without authority and collaborating to deliver on outputs and results
    • Proven ability to perform effectively in a complex, changing environment, Strong interpersonal skills are required, as well as good verbal communication and presentation skills
    • Well-organized with the ability to be flexible, an ability to prioritize multiple demands and effectively perform in a matrix organization
    • Strategic skills, including creativity and effectiveness in identifying and addressing major strategic challenges (e.g., new competition, shifting market environment) and the ability to balance short-term needs with long-term vision
    • Strategic and Operational Business/Marketing Planning capability, which will be pivotal in identifying, communicating and garnering resources to support commercial ideas.
    • Ability to facilitate open discussion and debate among key stakeholders and build internal and external relationships through partnering, anticipating needs, fulfilling expectations
