JOB SPECIFICATION:

Roles and responsibilities

• Processing cashbook, orders and invoices
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Reconcile and balance accounts
• Assist with budget preparation
• Assist with audits
• Assist with providing financial status information and assist with preparing special reports.
• Assist with asset management
• Providing whatever support is necessary to the accountants and finance team.

Education and Experience

• Knowledge of bookkeeping practices
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and Procedures
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory requirements
• Working knowledge of Sage Pastel
• Knowledge of data management and financial data analysis
• Bookkeeping certification is required
• A Degree/Diploma in accounting or finance is an advantage
