Job description

• Record transactions correctly and timeously and post the entries to the relevant ledger accounts.
• Issue invoices and statements of accounts to account managers.
• Provide Directors, Managers and auditors with access to the relevant financial documents and records.
• Provide administrative support.
• Bank reconciliations on a monthly basis.
• Credit Card reconciliations on a monthly basis.
• Liaise with Internal and external parties on a daily basis in a professional manner.
• Investigate and resolve queries on customer and supplier records as well as overall general ledger.
• Supplier and customer accounts reconciliation on a monthly basis.
• Second line of debt collection.
• Create new files according to requests received.
• Monthly reconciliations and preparation of monthly management account file to be reviewed by the manager.
• Load daily bank payments for authorisation by FD/MD
• Maintain float reports daily
• Maintain accounting controls and procedures
• Assist with budget and forecast preparation

Compulsory: completed BCom/BCompt degree without/with minimal experience or studying towards a financial degree with at least 5 years financial accounting experience.
