We have a great new Senior Management career opportunity for an Analytical, Strategic thinker who has the ability to break down complex business challenges into practical ways forward.

Reporting to our Head of Sustainability, the Enterprise Risk Manager is a Senior Management Group-wide role whose objective is to advise on potential risks to the profitability or sustainability of the Mr Price Group and guide management in developing solutions to adequately respond to these risks.

In accordance with the ERM Framework, you would be responsible for the following:

• Overall ownership of the ERM Framework, including implementation and ongoing development
• Promoting a culture of risk awareness and accountability across the Group
• Providing support, education and training mainly at Top and Senior Management levels to build risk awareness and provide risk response guidance
• Lead the Risk Assessment process in the enterprise-wide Working Groups

The key requirements for this career opportunity:

• We are looking for an ERM Specialist. In addition, the suitable candidate would ideally have between 5-10 years related business experience in risk management
• A relevant degree, preferably related to business risk management, project management and/or business analytics
• A background in risk advisory, audit and business analysis is critical
• The suitable candidate would also have the following required skills:
• Proven business analytics capability
• Business and technical acumen
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• A strategic thinker who has the ability to understand business strategy and long-term thinking
• Commercial awareness
• Negotiation skills and the ability to influence people
• Able to engage at a Senior / Top Management level
• Good communication, facilitation and presentation skills
