An exciting opportunity has arisen with a Global exhibition and conference events company connecting businesses across the world's oil, gas and energy landscape, who are looking for an established Sales Executive to represent their business in growing sales across the Africa and South Africa market - through company (delegate) registrations, sponsors, exhibitors.

Please be aware that for the position of Sales Executive (Oil & Gas):

• Applicants must currently be living in Johannesburg, South Africa
• Sponsorship is not available so applicants must be eligible to work in South Africa

Sales Executive (Oil & Gas) Job Description:

• Promote awareness, interest and develop sales (buy-In)
• Identify new clients
• Generate leads - engage and interact with customers
• Provide good customer service
• Manage enquiries and strengthen client relationships
• Research - database updates, loading sales/client data (opportunities + quotes)
• Weekly sales meetings, reports and feedback
• Liaison with Project/Operations Manager

Sales Executive (Oil & Gas) Job Requirements

Essential - if you do not fulfil these requirements, you will not be considered for the position:

• 3-5 years' sales experience within oil and gas E&P value chain
• Upstream oil & gas knowledge of the companies across sectors
• African continent wide sales experience
• Target orientated sales achiever
• Ability to listen and communicate effectively
• Team player, and able to work well within an international team.

Desirable

• Conference and exhibition sales experience
