Informatica Developer at Edge Consulting South Africa

Job description

We are looking for an Informatica Developer to be based at a client in Randburg.

Our client is looking for the below skills:

• ETL skills with previous experience working on ETL and data integration projects/solutions. Minimum 5 years Informatica powercenter, power exchange experience and skills
• Minimum 2 years Exposure to moving into a big data platform with either hadoop, NOSQL or Informatica Vibe experience
• Oracle database knowledge and skills
• SQL Server DB knowledge and skills
• Minimum 5 years SSIS experience Java and/or .net coding
• SAP is advantageous
• Leading technical development and implementation of information management related products.
• QA and production deployments
• Technical specs and functional specs including user and operators manuals and guides for handover into operations is expected.
• Informatica environmental knowledge to ensure optimal config and set up and installs to facilitate an optimal solution is delivered.
• Data analysis and/or data modelling and translation of physical data models from logical data models
• Exposure of Informatica, TDM for data masking and subsetting and ILM Data Archive and Vault for data archiving is advantageous.
• Workflow Monitoring and Automation, minimum 2 years
• The use of Informatica Deployment Utilities for powercenter/powerexchange, minimum 2 years BI/ODS experience and skills , minimum 3 yearsInformatica Data Quality skills or experience is a bonus.
• Data architectural / solution architectural skills and thinking advantageous
• Working on Big Data platform such as hadoop, Vibe, apache kafka technologies advantageous
• Worked with Informatica metadata management and business glossary or the like to show lineage across information solution in the enterprise is advantageous
