Job description

• The Transactional banking Sales Manager is responsible for delivering on Transactional banking Sales Target in specific portfolio, through selling of Transactional banking products i.e. Electronic banking platforms, local and foreign payments and related product sets that encompass this offering.
• The Manager will be required to deliver new business from new and existing clients in allocated portfolios/sectors per sales target as measured by opportunities closed in sales pipeline. The Manager will also work with coverage bankers to identify opportunities within their portfolios and ensure that opportunities are correctly captured by coverage bankers, assisting with deal sizing.
• The Manager will be required to design transactional banking solutions for clients that are similar to previous examples as well as write client proposals and present structures to clients. You will also price ‘statically priced’ products such as Transactional banking products as well as selling Working Capital products, in particular help structure working capital solutions and educate coverage and clients on options available.
• While completing the above, the Manager needs to comply with relevant regulations, including Conduct Risk and Ensure that FAIS requirements are fully met for all client engagements.
• The successful incumbent should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Banking, Economics or similar as well as 5+ years’ working experience in Corporate Banking. Experience in Transactional banking is required.
