Job Summary

Leadership position responsible to drive Digital Product capabilities, features, requirements, and roadmap in Europe, working closely with HQ. Visa Digital products include, for example, Visa Checkout and Visa Token The position reports to the Executive Director Digital Solutions for Visa in Europe.
This is a leadership role which leads the team of Digital Solutions Product subject matter experts on Visa Token Service, Visa Checkout and upcoming new products, ensuring business requirements from across the region are identified, their implications understood and prioritised appropriately and with responsibility for driving and ensuring all products related activities are completed.
This role involves interaction with clients and partners as well as close collaboration with colleagues both within Europe, other regions and HQ.
The candidate filling this role is a very seasoned product lead with prior people management experience, strong digital product and project management skills, prior experience of large scale technology payment product roll-outs, the ability to communicate commercially whilst being able to dive into detail as required and the ability to collaborate successfully across the region, with HQ, clients and partners.

Candidate Summary

• Lead the European product function for Visa Digital solutions which provides product subject matter expert for Visa Checkout, Visa Token Service, and upcoming new products.
• Lead the ongoing product development road-map and delivery of Visa Digital Solutions in Europe in coordination with This includes:
• development of required European specific Visa rules, adapting global rules if necessary
• identifying required new standards or modifications to existing standards
• ensuring the development and launch of product releases meet key milestones in the product roadmap, from developing prototypes with technology teams to global product launches of Visa servicesidentification and priorisation of market/regional specific requirements (both market and regulatory driven) and creation of commercially focused solutions.
• heads down efforts in the design, development and implementation of product improvements, as well as primary ownership of a change management process in order to properly vet and prioritize new features and capabilities resulting from such Improvements
• developing guidelines, policies, practices, and procedures to facilitate the usage of Digital Solutions by clients and partners, including creating clear and concise internal product and external documentation and materials
• Work with HQ & EU Digital Solutions and Business Functions to enable successful roll-out of Visa Checkout, Visa Token Service, and new feature releases / capabilities.
• Collaborate with product management leads for the underlying product lines to ensure strategic alignment, and coordinate with cross-product and technology teams to ensure the product roadmap is supportive of all digital channel initiatives.
• Be a product guru for Visa's digital solutions (initially Visa Checkout and tokenization)
• Work with partners in the payments ecosystem and with business stakeholders within Visa to socialise product strategy, identify and craft product improvements and enhancements, through product ideation and development of business and functional requirements, which support new business opportunities in the marketplace.
• Maintain a strong ongoing relationship and dialogue with business development and implementation teams to ensure that changes to the product roadmap are clearly communicated in a timely manner.
• Manage, coach and develop team to deliver against objectives and to maximize potential.
• Support relationships with ecosystem partners and suppliers (including, but not restricted to, mobile application platform and service providers, mobile device manufacturers and network operators) which will develop experiences that use or support new Visa digital payment products and services.

Qualification Summary

• A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent
• Previous experience of progressively responsible experience in product management and / or product development
• A very strong understanding of payments landscape within Europe.
• An ability to adjust messaging according to the audience, from going deep into the technical design and implementation of a solution with development and technology teams to providing an overview of product strategy and proposition to Visa management, clients and
• Experience with product development methodology for technology products, including direct involvement in the development of product vision, requirements gathering, functional design and technical implementation.
• An ability to translate product complexities into practical business solutions appropriate for Visa's clients and partners.
• Exceptional collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to drive consensus in cross regional and cross functional teams.
• Being able to be analytical and fact-based when necessary to defend product roadmap decisions, and given the changing nature of and uncertainty inherent in the digital payments space, being a flexible and creative thinker able to craft solutions to business
• Experience in managing E-commerce or payments projects
