Production Manager at Syndicate

Job description

Our Client, one of South Africa’s leading food FMCG companies has an exciting opportunity for a manufacturing operations professional to provide support to ensure that all aspects of production processes and shifts are efficiently and successfully managed so as to meet production objectives within the appropriate time scales and compliant to the agreed quality and food safety standards.

You will lead team of more than 100 employees over a 4 shift system, working with a product portfolio of more than 1 200 sku’s. Your continuous improvement and innovation skills are going to be put to the test when reducing the unplanned down-time of machines, streamlining the workflow so as to avoid bottlenecks between shifts and when you ensure that the company is following best practice according to market trends.

A relevant Degree/National Diploma in Engineering, Production or equivalent coupled with at least 5 to 7 years manufacturing management experience within the Food industry is required.
