    Customer Relationship Management Manager

    Job description

    Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

    This is an important role that fulfils functions and responsibilities that bridge the divide between the administrators and coordinators and the regional executive.

    In performing these functions, it ensures that responsibilities and tasks are shared equally and performed by staff that has the competence and capability resulting in quality of service to all stakeholders.

    At a high level, the responsibilities will involve assisting the regional executive in the delivery of products and services to international members (20% of the member base) and members under 35 (38% of the member base) as well as ensuring that members comply with CPD. In addition, when there is a need, to assist the Regional Executive with tasks in the Non-Technical Training and Contact Centre areas.

    Some of the key tasks and responsibilities are:

    • Responsible for the financial reporting function of the department by ensuring that all information is complete and accurate with reference to forecasts, budgets and actual data;
    • Creation of all communication material for both internal and external stakeholders;
    • Document all business processes and updating annually;
    • Manage all projects with regard to time, cost, quality and scope.
    • Responsible for all reporting for the department (strategy, work plan, communication plan, ad-hoc projects, budgets v actual, department and staff key performance indicators, Board reports;
    • Responsible for all committee documentation (terms of references, minutes, agendas, next steps);
    • Responsible for ensuring that all matters arising and next steps are assigned to appropriate stakeholders and follow up is done;
    • Responsible for creation of all surveys to internal and external stakeholders;
    • Assist regional executive with creation of the strategy and work plans for the department
    • Responsible for ensuring that staff are managed and supervised and have sufficient direction on an annual and day to day basis
    • Superuser for the CRM system to grant access to staff, run specific reports and train users
    • Liaison with IT for all bugs, enhancements and projects

    Key Competencies Required:

    Formal Education:

    Degree from an accredited university

    Computer Literacy:

    Advanced levels of computer literacy in

    • MS Word
    • MS Outlook,
    • MS Excel
    • MS Powerpoint

    Experience:

    At least 5 years administrative/financial experience including the management and supervision of staff

    Specific Skills:

    • Must have worked with financial reporting applications (Pastel, Great Plains or any other accounting package)
    • Must have excellent report writing skills and documentation skills
    • Must be able to manage projects and action plans
    • Must be able to troubleshoot member/regional issues and deliver solutions
    • Must be comfortable representing SAICA at various committees
    • Must be able to communicate effectively in member communications
    • excellent planning and organisational skills is vital;

    General

    • Assist the team in overflow circumstances and as the need arises;
    • Refer member, trainee and student queries to relevant persons;
    • To treat members, trainees and students contacting SAICA with a professional approach;
    • To be service orientated in dealings with members, trainees, students or customers; and
    • To have a sufficient knowledge of the departments within the Secretariat to correctly refer Members to the department/employee to assist them with their queries.
    • Perform any other functions or activities that my reasonably be required to enable SAICA generally or the unit specifically to achieve its strategies; and
    • Adhering at all times to SAICA’s policies and procedures including in particular policies and procedures relating to;
