    Marketing Coordinator

    Job description

    We are looking for an all-rounder with digital marketing, graphic design and writing skills to fill a hands-on communications and marketing role in a fast-paced, global environment.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Manage internal and external newsletters from compilation to distribution
    • Assist with execution of PR strategies to create brand awareness
    • Writing press releases and other communications
    • Managing marketing materials production, include leaflets, flyers and posters. This involves proofreading and writing, liaising with printers and designers
    • Building professional presentations for clients and key stakeholders
    • Monitoring and updating all social media platforms within set strategy and targets
    • Monitoring and implementing digital marketing campaigns e.g. LinkedIn ads, Google Adwords
    • Manage Client Management function for specific accounts from an administrative and research perspective
    • Liaising and networking with a range of stakeholders including customers, colleagues, suppliers, associations and industry bodies
    • Contributing to the marketing plan and strategy
    • Supporting the Global Marketing and Communications Manager, Chief Commercial Officer and other colleagues
    • Organising and attending events such as conferences, seminars, receptions, exhibitions and award ceremonies
    • Ordering merchandise for clients, staff and prospects within set deadlines, budgets and set brand guidelines globally
    • Research and adhoc projects as directed by the Global Marketing and Communications Manager

    Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

    • Matric or equivalent
    • A degree or relevant tertiary education in marketing or communications
    • At least 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role, dealing with the full marketing portfolio
    • At least 2 years’ experience in the outsourcing industry or contact centre industry preferred
    • Effective project management skills
    • Strong copywriting skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas
    • Creative, able to conceptualise and execute design for presentations, marketing collateral and merchandise
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office (MS Excel, MS Word , MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook, MS Publisher, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop)
    • Strong administration and organisational skills
    • High level of proficiency in written and spoken English
    • Excellent communication skills
    • High degree of attention to detail and accuracy
    • Ability to manage competing and conflicting priorities
    • Experience with Hootsuite, Wordpress, MS Project, Mailchimp, Sage CRM preferred
    • Willing to travel and work outside of normal working hours when required
    • Must hold and continue to hold a valid passport for international travel throughout contract of employ
