Our clients know we excel in providing solutions for flood resilience in highly complex urban environments. We offer smart, interactive tools and analyses which cover the entire spectrum in flood resilience - from early warning systems to flood prevention. We’re the ones who provided New Orleans with a post-Hurricane Katrina Analysis of Risk. Using hydraulic modelling we proposed to reduce potential risks. More recently we’ve pioneered the user friendly Early Warning Flood App empowering citizens to prepare for flash floods – starting in Accra, Ghana.
With your commercial acumen you can confidently grow our Flood Resilience portfolio in urban areas. You will lead profitable growth across the globe, attracting talent to enhance our profile and our key partner alliances. You are attuned to market needs, rather than being content driven.

Main Responsibilities   

• Proven track record in increasing sales, profitability and enhancing competitive positions by gaining market share in the flood resilience sector
• Commercialise flood resilience in all our markets across the globe
• Leverage on our competitive position in flood resilience and ensure that we are always ahead of competitors
• Identify potential partners and/or acquisitions in flood resilience
• Develop and promote earning and pricing models that will be acceptable both internally and externally.
• Attend and host workshops on commercialisation of flood resilience as a leading service in our Water Business Line
• Engage with external and potential clients to enhance current business and develop future business.
• Understand client requirements and ensure that we have the right capabilities for delivery
• Liaise with internal clients to understand our value proposition
• Build global teams and external networks to ensure cross-pollination of knowledge and expertise
• Collaborate with start-ups, investment funds, digital advisory community, knowledge institutes / universities to advance the digital and innovation capabilities of the Water Business Line
• Ensure that our Leading Service - Flood resilience - is resourced with the best talent

Minimum qualifications, skills and experience   

• Preferably, Master’s degree in Civil engineering or related qualification
• Minimum of 15 years international working experience in flood resilience
• Strong leadership skills with an inspiring and hands-on approach
• Knowledge of leading trends and practices in flood resilience
• Strong presentation skills, able to confidently present at the highest level to internal and external
• Globe Trotter
• Experience in working for a transnational company
• Fluent English
