Job description

The main purpose of the job is to understand business requirements, to create high-quality data, application and technology architectures and designs in support of the business requirements, and to lead the of the design into the final solution implementation.

Key Performance Areas

• Create architectures and designs for solutions that are aligned with business blueprints, non-functional requirements, delivery constraints, data, application and technology standards, and architecture standards
• Ensure solution architecture quality and serve as the primary point of contact for solution design between the project team and the SDLC process
• Define solution design standards and execute requirements for SDLC governance
• Innovation and development
• Analysis and investigation

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Information Systems/Computer Science
• Architecture and solution design (UML, OO, SOA, etc.)
• Software development frameworks and methodologies (RUP, Agile, Scrum, TOGAF, etc.)
• Solid track record in successful delivery in the solution architecture discipline
• Retail industry experience with an understanding of retail business processes
• Experience with SAP Hybris
• Experience developing and architecting object-orientated applications using multiple programming languages and paradigms
• Excellent design and architecture skills and proven track record delivering well-designed complex enterprise class systems
• Working experience within the IT industry
