Requirements

At least 3-5 years’ experience in the IT Support/Networking industry is required and preferred qualifications include A+, N+ & MCSE certifications. Own reliable vehicle and a valid Driver’s Licence is non-negotiable. A candidate with both the attitude and aptitude to succeed in the area of Server/Network Support and Client Services consulting will fill this position. The candidate MUST have a love for all things IT display an eagerness learn and grow within Netsurit.

Job Specification

• Being part of a highly motivated, fast passed and self-managed team, delivering support to Netsurit SLA client base
• Setting goals and targets in order to reach certain individual and team incentives
• Intermediate to advanced proactive as well as reactive work within the client base
• Assistance with projects at their clients that are project managed by the Team Leader or dedicated Project Manager
• Will be required to build, install and configure workstations, servers, networking devices and cloud services
• Troubleshooting hardware, OS and Software related issues on workstations and servers
• Must be able to setup various networking peripherals such as multifunction printers.
• Required to have good knowledge of TCP/IP and must be able to troubleshoot, identify and resolve any networking related problems.
• Required to have good understanding of LAN and WAN infrastructures.
• Must be able to distinguish between different connectivity scenarios and have a good understanding of how they work, e.g., leased lines, ADSL, ISDN, Fibre etc.
• Must have good knowledge Office365, Azure, Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy etc.
• Must have good general literacy in Microsoft Office. Especially Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel.
• Must be able to install, configure and troubleshoot 3rd party applications such as managed Antivirus.
• Required to complete and submit monthly BSC (Performance management system)
• Ensuring that all daily, weekly and monthly admin tasks are completed timeously
