Assistant Yard Manager at Doka Middle East & Africa

Job description

• Support the strategy realization;
• Product range consolidation (scrap action to make room for new products);
• Organize and carry out stock take;
• Analysis and optimization of processes in the Yard;
• Coordinate and control material receipts in the warehouse, storage of material, customer deliveries, customer returns and reconditioning of formwork (4-eyes-principle as per the internal defined rules and proceedings);
• Order consumable parts, spare parts and new tools;
• Facilitate and maintain tools for yard operation (forklift, cranes, high-pressure cleaner, circular saw, routers and small tools);
• Facilitate GS & FS quality analysis and training activities to assure group standards and compliance;
• Record daily deliveries, returns and RTU;
• Comply with the Health and Safety management system;
• Administration of time and attendance for the yard staff
• Administration of training and development for the yard staff together with HR

Desired Skills and Experience

• Grade 12 Senior Certificate; (Essential)
• Fluent in English; (Essential)
• First aid training;
• Forklift driver’s license.
• Experience in Microsoft office packages; (Essential)
• Experience in processing orders and inventory valuation;
• Experience in logistics. (Advantages)
• At least 2-3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
