Job description

• Identify new model potential - Monitor new model availability and market analysis to Identify potential new products, PSM (Product Strategy Manager) - Product news and Assignability document analysis and market segment analysis.
• New Product Approval - from local management and finance consisting of - new model positioning, new model specifications and options, new model financial positioning, HQ proposal presentation and approval process.
• New model introduction - creating and providing all relevant information documents to Finance, Parts, Aftersales, Logistics, Marketing, Sales - provide information on new models; loading of all info required into Product Catalogue and or Master data.(SAP).
• Provide logistics / HQ with initial launch stock order as per requirements.
• Monitor lifecycle changes from HQ feedback & implement and update all areas where necessary and applicable.
• Assist Marketing with the brochure creation process, website updates to verify accuracy.
• Assist Network department with specifications for generating new model and model update training material.
• Analyze current & historical market sales and trends on a monthly basis.
• Generate all product related bulletins providing information of new models/ ranges to product updates and feedback. Presentations to internal committees and departments as well as dealer committees on product plans and or other forums where feedback may be required.
• Prepare and present to various external parties, for example at press launches for new models or such functions.
• PSM to update all new information into product overview presentation for new people / dealers, and to assist training department in creation of the online training content and the 'train the trainer' content document for the external trainer.

Requirements:

• Vehicle Market knowledge and understanding
• Vehicle Market Segment Trends.
• Forecasting of Segment Trends and Market movements.
• Computer literacy with comprehensive knowledge of MS Excel, Powerpoint, Word
• Knowledge of SAP operating system.
• Strong numerate abilities, analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Good planning and organizing skills and presentation skills
• Able to work under pressure with short deadlines
• Target driven / focused
• Jato experience essential

Qualification:

Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) / Bachelor of Science in Engineering.

Experience:

Approximately 4-6 years automotive industry experience
