Job description
Duties

• Performs duties of an Accounts Payable Clerk for all suppliers.
• Captures and obtains authorisation for invoices, staff reimbursement, down payments, warranty payments, sundry invoices, and customer refunds.
• Allocation of payments against invoices on supplier accounts
• Capture credit card transactions.
• Identify optimum payment times and release.
• Investigates queries on suppliers’ invoices if escalated.
• Reviews and submit supplier reconciliations to the financial manager for sign off.
• Manages and controls the Accounts Payable portfolio.
• Compiles management reports relating to the accounts payable function.
• Capture inventory invoices
• Reconcile and process monthly petty cash transactions
• Monthly reporting on Accounts Payable age analysis

Skills required

• Pastel Evolution advantageous
• Proficient in French (Read, Write, Speak) advantageous
• Matric with financial tertiary studies essential (Current enrolment will be considered)
• Min 3 years working experience in a similar role
• Proficient in Excel and Word (Vlookup and Pivot tables)
• Time management
• Accuracy
