    Desktop Support Technician

    Job description

    Key Result Areas:

    • Providing 2nd level desktop support
    • Troubleshooting and resolving software and hardware issues onsite
    • Deployment of software and hardware
    • Providing remote support
    • Network and Printer monitoring
    • Configure and solve problems relating to Microsoft office professional, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Outlook and any other approved client software.
    • Managing incidents and requests
    • Handling escalation and queries from the IT manager

    Qualifications & Experience:

    • Matric
    • Relevant IT diploma /course, A+, N+
    • MS Office Applications
    • Call management systems
    • 3 years’ experience in IT environment
    • 1-2 years’ experience in technical support
    • 1-2 years’ experience in desktop support
