Key Responsibilities
Key Requirements
- Assisting with traffic engineering related projects including traffic signal design, traffic impact studies, and traffic studies associated with TODs and general mixed use developments and pedestrian modelling studies
- Traffic engineering input into Roads Master Planning, Transportation Studies, Corridor Development Studies, bus priority studies,
- Traffic Engineering input in the development of Universal Access (UA) compliant engineering elements
- Assisting with traffic engineering and pedestrian related micro-simulation modelling
Key Requirements
- BEng or BSc Civil Engineering with a Master Degree being an added advantage
- 3 - 5 years relevant working experience with a broader interest in Transportation Planning
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team in a traffic engineering environment
- Microsimulation modelling experience highly beneficial
- Ability to work in a team environment across a diverse range of projects
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment
- Ability to work under pressure
- Must have a valid South Africa driving licence and be willing and able to travel, occasionally being required to stay at project sites
