Business Unit Head - Surgical at Alcon - A Novartis Division

Job description

The Surgical Business Unit Head is primarily responsible for driving the P& L growth and delivering targeting profit contribution for the Surgical Business Unit (BU). Responsible for building and maintaining Alcon’s Surgical business based upon an approved strategic plan and annually approved budget and leading and developing the Country Surgical team as part of the Country's Leadership Team.

Minimum requirements

• University degree qualification or equivalent in Life Sciences, Marketing or Business Management or a related field.
• MBA or post graduate/ advanced degree qualification in business or management or a related field – would be advantageous.
• Minimum of 5 years Surgical or Pharma related experience.
• A world class leader with a proven track record of increasing responsibility and a career track record of success in sales and marketing leadership roles within a Medical devices or Pharma organization.
