Job Description

A role exists for a Senior Business Intelligence Developer in an online organisation with a fantastic history of success and a strong BI Team.

You need to be a motivated, energetic, inquisitive and highly numerate person who has a solid technical base but also possesses an appreciation for numbers and understands the value that can be derived from interrogating them.

Job Requirements

• You need to have matric with 3 years' relevant work experience, Ms Excel advanced level, and knowledge of Enterprise Data Warehouses. It's important that you can give accurate technical estimates, and have strong communication skills, with the ability to mentor others.
• You must have 6 years' SQL experience with specific reference to creation of stored procedures, functions, automation of jobs, performance tuning, and 4 years' SSIS experience with specific reference to creation of complex ETL processes, error handling, loading data from various sources, integration of new data, precedence constraints, parameterized connections.
• You need 4 years' SSAS experience with specific reference to creation, implementation and maintenance of multi-dimensional cubes, MDX and DAX.

The Following Will Be An Advantage

• SSRS;
• DBA experience;
• Software development background;
• BIML;
• XML;
• Service broker queue; and/or,
• 1 year of project management experience.
