Hotel Product Manager at JacTravel

We are looking to recruit an experienced Hotel Product Manager to become an integral part of our team in South Africa!

As a Hotel Product Manager, you'll need to:

• Identify ‘must-have’ hotels within a destination and contract where appropriate
• Review and amend the product available to the portfolio of hotels
• Advise on preferred partner hotels in the relevant destinations, negotiate exclusive deals
• Address and resolve any standard/service level issues with suppliers
• Negotiate added-value deals and special offers
• Manage the supplier relationship throughout the period of the contract, including dealing with close out requests and book out issues and liaising with relevant departments accordingly.

To be considered for this position, you'll need to demonstrate:

• Experience working with in the travel industry as a Hotel Product Manager/Marketing Manager
• Local market knowledge and competitor awareness
• Strong negotiation skills
• An ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast paced environment
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Numerical efficiency
• An ability to work with a team and be a strong team-player
