Operations Administrator (Tracking) at APM Terminals

Job description

This is a permanent position based out our Cape Town depot. The purpose of this position is to ensure that the container tracking system is updated live. To build customer confidence and ensure that all customer queries and emails are responded to by the end of each shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensuring that every containers entering the facility is captured accurately and live.
• Ensure that all shipping line and customers bookings are captured when sent from the bookings desk.
• Gate recons are to be completed daily and is to be signed off by tracking team leader on a weekly basis.
• Ensure that all customer stock reports and movements are sent daily by 09:00
• Build strong confidence relationships with internal and external customers
