Finance Director - Travel Group at GAP Placements

Job description

My client is a leading Hospitality Group with diverse locations globally and the role being based in the Caribbean Region.

The current vacancy is a Financial Director to work closely with the CFO at group level and will in effect manage the day to day financial operations of the business, with a team of 30 people in the finance team spread out over various locations globally.

• Remuneration dependent upon experience – circa $120,000 USD k to $160,000k USDbase.

The person required will be:

• Highly likely to be both Degree and Professionally qualified – CPA, CA, ACA,
• 10 years + experience
• 1St Prize would be someone from a Corporate Background (Ideally from a hospitality , travel or hotel organization with turnover in excess of USD 400m+).
• Finance background from a Corporate Finance Head Office function would be idea
• The person will manage a team of circa 20 in total which may grow given the ambitious growth plans of the company.
• Travel / Hotel experience is an advantage but is not essential
• Needs strong accounting standards knowledge, e.g. IFRS, etc.
• Oracle skills and experience is essential.
• Background in (BI) Business Intelligence will be an advantage.
• Strong report writing skills…how to create meaningful commercially valuable reports, e.g. exception reporting, and the interpretation of result
