    Content Editor & Analyst

    Job description

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Edit content for use across different media forms – including inspiration articles, newsletters, workshop books, training materials, marketing collateral and websites.
    • Work closely with designers to ensure a cohesive relationship between copy and layout.
    • Ensure that all content across Lacuna platforms is easy to read and comprehensible for all clients.
    • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of all scheduled deliverables.
    • Contribute to the evaluation of content presentation.
    • Assist with assessing and perfecting all written content for the business, not only in terms of language but also style, tone and suitedness to individual clients.
    • Ensure that clients’ engagement with our content is positive. This encompasses accessibility and consistency.
    • Demonstrate an ability to investigate, research and connect large quantities of information and summarise this into workable formats for internal and external purposes.
    • We foster an ‘all hands on deck’ culture, so you may dabble in other areas too.

    Experience, Skill Set & Qualifications:

    • A real passion for the English language and literature.
    • Bachelors or Masters in English, Linguistics, Journalism, Corporate Communication, Public Relations or other related areas.
    • 1-2 years of working experience. This could include postgraduate university work such as research or tutoring that requires a high degree of attention to detail.
    • Excellent writing and editing skills.
    • Intuitive grasp of appropriate tone.
    • Adaptability.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • High level of organisation and detail-orientation.
    • Superior reading and proofreading skills.
    • Intuition and problem solving skills.
    • Eagerness to take on new roles and responsibilities and take ownership when required.
    • Creative thinking capability with a knack for marketing is beneficial.
    • Ability to work within a networked team structure in a high-performance, project-based environment.
