Whilst there is an IT component to the projects, this position is for a Business Project Manager. You must be able to go through the complete Project Lifecycle, from creating a PID (Project Initiation Document), to scoping and drawing up a complete plan down to the tasks lists. You will also be responsible for tracking and reporting on the project and driving delivery.
Job Requirements:
- 3 - 5 years' experience;
- A relevant tertiary qualification / certifications
- Financial Services industry experience
- This role will be suited to someone with confidence, who has experience in presenting to Steerco, displays a passion for project management and who has proven experience in driving delivery, influencing and challenging.
- You will be required to document meetings and be able to distil the information gathered to accurately capture the essence of the meeting. A key area for this role is the ability to build solid relationships with the various business areas and extract the correct information for scoping of projects, and creating the scoping documents.
- So in short, you will have to be experienced in running with projects from beginning to end.
