Technical Trainer Internship at HyperionDev

Job description

• Responsible for assisting our training team with providing high quality, online and face-to-face mentorship to students on Hyperion's online tech courses
• Make a difference by assisting students from previously disadvantaged backgrounds change their lives and the lives of their families by entering the field of software development through Hyperion's education
• Experience working in a fast-moving tech startup environment with a truly unique culture.
• Available as a remote role or a role from our Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban, or London offices
• Available as a part-time internship with a minimum time commitment of 15 hours per week and a minimum internship period of 3 months

Essential

Requirements

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• A problem-solving attitude
• Strong leadership and teamwork skills
• Programming experience in at least one modern programming language (eg Java/Python/C++/C#)
• Studying towards or holding a university degree in Computer Science or related subject

Desirable

• Teaching or tutoring experience
• Experience working with online students and delivery remote support
• Active involvement in local and international tech communities
• Android, Data Science, or Web Development experience
