The HR Regional Manager has to guide and manage the overall provision of Human Resources services, policies, and programmes. Responsible for the implementation, maintenance and development of the programs, plans, policies, procedures and practices covering Human Resources in the assigned Africa Region with the aim to support the achievement of the organization’s business goals. Provide to the assigned organizations the leadership, expertise and operational support on all matters involving people, in order to diffuse ethic principles, to ensure Group values implementation in and to guarantee a satisfying and empowering working environment.

• To check and assess the respect of the Compliance to any Local Labour Laws, as well the respect of the Group and Division set of procedures.
• To develop, manage and support BEE requirements in the Subsidiaries awarded by this status.
• To recruit / develop a highly skilled and motivated workforce, to accomplish the organizational goals in all the African Countries.

Responsibilities

• Organization development Respect of the compliance to Local Labour Laws Policy / procedure development and documentation
• Recruiting and staffing Employee on-boarding, assessment & development, and training Company employee and community communication
• Compensation and benefits administration Employee safety, welfare, wellness and health BEE implementation and maintenance (where applicable)
• Maintain proper info/documents for HR Data Base Guarantee proper management of the expats

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business
• MBA will be considered a plus Fluent knowledge of English
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a Regional HR position
• Eligible to improve / maintain South African Subsidiary BEE status

• Capability to drive continuous improvement and, in case, to manage restructuring procedures Knowledge in developing and maintaining

• Good communication skills Strong ability in Cost Controlling and Cost forecasting (Budgeting process, etc.) Direct knowledge of African Countries (other than South Africa)
