We have recently launched our retail division in South Africa and are currently looking for 3 highly motivated Business Development Consultants to join our team. Our team, based in Johannesburg, is energetic adaptable thinkers with a robust commitment to making Enel Energy SA the most recognized household name throughout Southern Africa.
The Business Development Consultant will support the work of the marketing manager on projects directed at maximizing company profits and developing partnership strategies, marketing campaigns and clinching strategic alliances with the major stakeholders in South Africa across all different sectors of the economy. The role is vastly suited to a candidate with a strategic, creative and result-driven mind-set that can handle a fast paced working environment.
Minimum Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years business development experience preferred.
- Comfortable sourcing new business and presenting at a senior management/executive level
- Must be highly organized and able to manage time effectively to drive maximum productivity
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Must possess a high level of enthusiasm, energy and desire to succeed
- Must possess business acumen, numerical skills, creativity and good team-working skills
- Must possess a very good legal understanding and be familiar with NDAs, MoUs, etc..
- Possess excellent market research abilities and soft skills
- Excellent ability to use PowerPoint, Excel
- Familiar with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tools

Structure clear strategic plans to enlarge EESA’s B2B network and lead generation opportunities, while identifying the right target market

Negotiate win-win partnerships, think outside the box and close agreements based on mutual criterion

Be the primary point of contact of your assigned channels and manage all partner enquiries and relationships

Engage and establish long-lasting partnerships: Schedule and conduct regular consultations with Enel partners to keep their teams abreast of new product developments and communications

Evaluate new partnership opportunities and ensure best practice in the negotiation of MOU agreements

Articulate the company's value proposition and solution offering

Develop strategies to increase the lead generation, and execute actionable items to maximise local and national opportunities

Maintain day-to-day communications with channel partners. Specific focus will be around pricing, new products/service offerings and communication developments.

Assist/Conduct regular meetings with key partners to maintain corporate relations and a preferred energy partner status
