Job description
The Business Planning Analyst role is responsible for working with key stakeholders in developing and implementing strategic business plans and other financial initiatives to drive the company’s growth performance across all products and sectors. This role is responsible for providing strategic P&L and financial operational support and leadership for the Southern African Countries, serving as a proactive business partner to drive performance, growth, business strategy and profitability. The Business Planning Analyst supports the efficient and effective preparation of financial plans, management reporting, analysis of business results, management of risks and opportunities and providing relevant and reliable information as decision support to management.
Experience: The ideal will have a minimum 3-5 years of experience in financial/business planning ideally in a financial business controller or similar role. Previous experience as a business partner strongly preferred. The preferred candidate will have excellent skills in financial analysis and a good understanding of the South African pharmaceutical industry. The candidate must have strong leadership and communication skills enabling him/her to communicate effectively and support business and franchise heads. Experience in working in a diverse, complex and matrix environment. Expert user in MS Office. Expert skills on MS Excel. Experience in working with SAP and MIS tools
