    What you will do in the role

    This role will be a unique opportunity to help build the Technology and Product functions and power their exponential growth. Reporting to the Head of People, you will play a significant role by helping us to recruit, retain and develop the best technical talent.

    Key responsibilities are to:

    • Support the Head of People, in order to define and deliver a talent acquisition plan to directly source a number of key technology hires, negating the need for agencies.
    • Work with the People Team to develop and execute of a world class recruitment process ensuring a productive, efficient, and enjoyable internal and external hiring process measured through onboarding and employee feedback
    • Take responsibility for the tech recruitment process, working closely with the Head of People and the CTO to source and recruit the best talent. Daily tasks will include running ad campaigns for certain roles, maximizing Linkedin as a tool, sourcing candidates, managing the first filter of applications, initial response communications and assessing for culture fit.
    • Be the social media champion for Talent Acquisition; use online and offline touchpoints and channels to identify and build a dialogue with the talent ecosystem most relevant to Prodigy Finance.
    • Maintain the quality of our data capture and IP; be a Greenhouse super user, ensure the data inputted by the team and by you is always up-to-date and 100% accurate.
    • Conduct analysis and desk research; identify target candidate pools and research market landscapes in order to build our talent pipeline.
    • Execute background checks and references on all candidates.
    • Execute, and seek to continuously improve, best practice talent at Prodigy Finance methodologies.
    • Become the expert in understanding and communicating the current employment landscape, opportunities and challenges for hiring talent in all countries where Prodigy Finance has (or will have) a presence.
    • Be a key stakeholder in the onboarding and engagement process for a number of hires

    Who we are looking for; track record must haves

    • Proven success as a recruiter in the tech sector; ideally within an in-house talent acquisition function but experience as a service provider will also be considered.
    • Track record of recruiting a range of technical functions and levels within high-growth companies.
    • Ideal functional expertise to cover tech and engineering, plus commercial when needed.
    • Demonstrable experience across online and offline recruitment initiatives and campaigns with a proven ability to lead candidate engagement and hiring across a range of audiences.

    Experience that would be nice to have (but we’ll trade off if everything else fits)

    • Track record of recruiting across multiple locations (London and Cape Town preferred).
    • Experience of managing social media campaigns, communication and/or marketing strategies. If you haven’t done this before, you need to show us that you have the aptitude to learn it quickly.
