    Registered Psychometrist/ Junior Industrial psychologist

    Job description

    An opportunity is available for a registered Psychometrist/ Junior Industrial psychologist for a 12 month fixed term period with the option to be employed permanently. He/She should be comfortable working in a consulting environment with daily client interactions. Must be willing to travel regularly within the client area. He/she must be self-disciplined and able to manage own time and workload as well as be comfortable working from different environments, including from home.

    The position involves creating and maintaining goodwill, retention, and identifying opportunities within the Company’s existing client base, by having effective conversations each day with clients. Pro-actively identifying client needs and ensuring that these are met with the objective of maximizing the Company’s profit and delighting our customers.

    To be a product and systems expert and be able to answer queries around our assessments and fully demonstrate all online products through the Company automated system. The role involves consulting and advising clients on the usage of psychometrics in their organizations, identifying opportunities, delivering projects and engaging in account management activities to support the South African business.

    Key Requirements

    Relevant qualification

    • Registered with the HPCSA
    • Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous
    • A positive can-do attitude and the ability to make things happen
    • The ability to own a project and see it through from start to finish without needing to be micromanaged
    • Able to build rapport easily with just about anybody
    • The ability to engage with, excite and influence clients
    • A background in customer service would be very useful
    • An interest in Psychology

    The following would also be an asset:

    • Ability to multi-task
    • Excellent communicator
    • Completer-finisher – ability to see projects through to completion
    • Problem-solving skills
    • High level of interpersonal skills
    • Excellent time management
    • Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
