PHP Web Developer at Port2Port

Job description

Port2Port is looking for our next mid-senior back-end web developer to join the team at our Rose Street HQ. Please only apply if you have a proven track record and portfolio.

Key technical skills

• Expert in PHP, MySQL fluent in CSS/HTML, jQuery and Ajax.
• Experience in Web services integration (SOAP/REST) etc
• Extensive knowledge and experience in content management system development,
• Experience in e-commerce development ( Prestashop, Woocommerce, Magento),
• Code valid HTML and CSS,
• Understanding of SEO principles during development,
• Developing cross-browser and cross-platform compatible solutions,
• Knowledge of emerging web technologies, mobile apps (advantage),
• Experience in responsive web design
• Strong understanding of and experience in mobile web development.

Technical skills

• Quality and speed of work,
• Level of self-evaluation and development,
• Internal relationships and departmental contribution,
• Communication skills,
• Awareness of industry trends and issues, particularly those relevant to clients.
