Job description

A Systems Architect (Mobile) is required to join an insurance company. The incumbent will provide technical direction and leadership as part of a team working with various development teams, solution design and oversee implementation of enhancements to the mobile and web solutions across all digital channels.

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, information systems or related fields preferred, along with a broad knowledge of the field and proven leadership skills
• 6 plus years’ experience in large digital and mobile implementations
• Experience in deployments in the major app stores (Apple app store, Google play store)
• Strong technical knowledge of Java / Objective-C / Swift and related web and mobile based (iOS and Android) development technologies
• A thorough understanding of OOP, design patterns, iOS, Android, and enterprise in mobile application integration
• Knowledge of emerging technologies/industry trends along with the ability to leverage them in application development and support initiatives
• Knowledge of security as it pertains to securing mobile apps and endpoints
• Capable of articulating the business value of IT investments/projects and collaborating with partners and cross-functional groups during implementation
• Skilled in integrating new technologies with existing business initiatives and understanding the business processes and customer needs
• Good understanding of governance framework (roles and responsibilities, escalation and communication process, handoffs and control points)
• Ability to make recommendations as they pertain to improvements in support/development initiatives and facilitate implementation with partners, IT and cross-functional groups within the Business
