HubSpot Support Specialist at Phoenix Recruitment

• Safari & Tourism Company in Cape Town is looking for a technically skilled and service-focused HubSpot Support Specialist to support their internal teams.
• Reporting to the Head of CRM, the successful candidate will combine technical support, user training and system optimisation to help sales, marketing and operations teams use HubSpot effectively across B2B and B2C operations.

Duties:

Helpdesk & User Support:

• Respond to support tickets and resolve queries relating to HubSpot functionality, configuration and troubleshooting.
• Provide timely assistance through the helpdesk system, Slack and email.
• Troubleshoot workflows, automation, forms and reporting issues.
• Assist with configuring and improving workflows and data structures.
• Handle first-line integration troubleshooting and escalate complex issues to the Head of CRM.
• Maintain accurate records of issues, resolutions and best practices.

Training & Content Creation:

• Deliver live training sessions and workshops for new and existing users.
• Provide in-person training at Johannesburg offices when required, with occasional Cape Town sessions.
• Create user guides, how-to articles, training documents and demonstration videos.
• Develop and maintain a knowledge base of FAQs, processes and troubleshooting guidance.
• Adapt training to different teams, skill levels and business needs.

​​​​​​​System Administration & Data Quality:

• Manage user access, permissions and role assignments.
• Create and improve reports and dashboards.
• Monitor data quality and maintain accurate records across B2B and B2C pipelines.
• Implement system improvements within the agreed scope.

​​​​​​​Reporting & Continuous Improvement:

• Track ticket volumes, resolution times, recurring issues and support trends.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows, training and user adoption.
• Provide the Head of CRM with insights into system performance and user challenges.
• Communicate system updates and support the adoption of new features and processes.
• Work with stakeholders to translate operational needs into practical improvements.

​​​​​​​Requirements:

• HubSpot certification in Sales, Marketing or Service Hub.
• At least 2 years’ CRM or technical support experience.
• Strong knowledge of HubSpot workflows, automation, reporting, data management, custom fields and properties.
• Proven experience resolving technical issues through a support ticketing system.
• Experience creating training materials and explaining technical concepts clearly.
• Experience with B2B and/or B2C sales and marketing workflows would be preferred.
• Confidence using video-creation tools
