    Accountant

    Job description

    • Monthly processing and reconciliation of bank account statements
    • Petty cash processing and reconciliation
    • Processing of purchases, reconciliations and creditors accounts
    • Processing of sales and reconciliation of debtor accounts
    • Processing and reconciliation of salary and wage general ledger control accounts
    • Salaries and wages payroll
    • Salaries and wages (PAYE/SDL/UIF)
    • Reconciliation of VAT general ledger control account
    • VAT / EMP501 reconciliation (Bi-Annually)
    • Submission and payment of employees tax to SARS (EMP201)
    • Submission of standard journals and general journals
    • Preparation of management reports, comparison of actual figures to budget
    • Assist the Regional Financial Manager: Africa in adhoc tasks
