Areas of Involvement:

• Consumer behaviour, technology and environmental investigation
• Content Writing
• Trend Research & Analysis

Primary Responsibilities:

• Researching and scanning various sources and sites for “inspirations” relating to identified trends
• Receiving and reviewing various clipped/archived articles based on industry related trends
• Collating topic-based information to provide insights of consumer trends manifesting within FMCG sector
• Synthesise and simplify complex trends and insights
• Content writing relating to trends on various topics, specifically in a short-copy style
• Composing articles, features and proposals relating to project assignments
• Work hand-in-hand with a Senior Innovation Lead in researching and delivering relevant content, building presentations, newsletters etc
• Ensure text is well written and logically structured
• Ensure that quality is consistent with company's tone and style
• Proofread and fact-check content
• Extract meaningful conclusions from abstract information
• Actively contribute to client presentation documents
• Delivering on tasks timeously and diligently

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

• Related Bachelors in Consumer Behavior, Marketing, Innovation, Future Studies or related fields
• Portfolio of work as evidence of experience as a writer and/or content administrator
• Min. 6 months’ internship or practical work experience
• Eagerness to take on new roles and responsibilities and take ownership when required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Creative thinking capability
• Analytical, critical and lateral thinking skills
• Trend forecasting, identification and analysis, particularly within the FMCG sector and how these manifest
• Ability to investigate, research and connect large amounts of information, and summarise this into workable formats for internal and external purposes.
